EF Announces the Acquisition of “The Terraces” in Orleans, MA!

EF and its investors are pleased to announce the purchase of The Terraces, a 52-bed Skilled Nursing and Independent Living Facility in Orleans, MA.  We acquired the facility from a local family that has owned and operated the facility for over 50 years.

If you’re a facility owner ready to confidentially discuss your options with a local team of senior living experts, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Below is a note to The Orleans community from Bob Eisenstein, Founder of EF.

Dear Residents, Families and Neighbors of The Terraces:

I am honore and excited to introduce myself to all of you as our group takes over ownership of The Terraces this week.  My name is Robert (Bob) Eisenstein, and I am one of the founding members of Eisenstein Flaherty.  We’re a Plymouth, MA-based senior living management, ownership and consulting company, and all of our work is based here in Massachusetts.

I’ve been a licensed nursing home administrator since 1990 and, while my colleagues and I have managed dozens of senior living facilities across the Commonwealth, The Terraces is the first facility we’ve owned.  We are excited to continue the great success and legacy of The Terraces, and we will be committing significant resources to do so.  Starting almost immediately, you will notice capital improvements to the roof, balconies, septic and other systems inside and outside the building.  We will do our best to minimize disruption, but these improvements will continue into 2022, all with an eye towards increasing the safety and comfort of our residents and staff.

On a personal note, I have lived in south Plymouth for 30 years with my wife Maureen, our two children Arielle and Zachary, and our new “COVID dog” Bodie.  I feel very connected to Orleans, as my daughter had her wedding at the Captain Linnell House and Skaket Beach five years ago.  My wife and I rode many miles on the rail trail, and I have also participated in The Gasp bike fundraiser, riding from Sandwich to PTown.

During the purchase of The Terraces, I’ve gotten to know Mary Doyle and Maureen Kalivas quite well and consider them colleagues and friends.  We’ve spoken at length about the wonderful legacy of the Peter Meade family owning and managing The Terraces, and we plan to continue that sense of “family” in all we do going forward.

I plan on being a visible owner, so don’t be surprised to see me making rounds in the building as I get to know the residents, staff and family members.  Our Chief Nursing Officer, Karen Bain, lives in Eastham on Cape, and two of my partners live in Plymouth, so you will be seeing us regularly over the coming months and years.  I’m also delighted to introduce you to The Terraces’ new Administrator, Stacy Grass, LNHA.  Stacy is a local Cape person, from Sandwich, and she also receive executive support from my colleague, Joe Veno, President of EF Senior Living Management, who’ll be on-site regularly as well.

I look forward to meeting many of you in person over the coming months, but I’m always available to speak with you via phone or email. My contact information is (617) 702-2644 or email us at Contact@EFSeniorCare.com.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.

Here’s to many wonderful years together.

Sincerely,

Bob Eisenstein, LNHA, LICSW
