PRESS RELEASE

Plymouth MA – (November 18th, 2025) – EF Senior Care is proud to announce that Co-Founder Matt Muratore was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Senior Care Association.

Matt’s appointment reflects his experience and knowledge from a 34-year career in the senior living industry and 14 years of public service including as a Plymouth Select Board member followed by five terms as the State Representative for Plymouth’s First District.  Matt previously chaired the Plymouth Council on Aging.

At the state level, Matt served on the 2019-2020 Nursing Facility Task Force that helped develop long-term solutions which were incorporated into last year’s landmark long-term care legislation signed by Governor Healey.  That legislation created the Assisted Living Residence Commission and the Rest Home Governance and Regulatory Structure Task Force, both of which Matt served on this year.

Since its founding in 1949, Mass Senior Care’s mission has been to improve the quality and delivery of long term care services in Massachusetts through research, education and advocacy.  Its members provide housing, healthcare and support for over 100,000 of the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable residents.

Matt will serve a three-year term, and he invites long-term care stakeholders, residents, families, facility owners and operators to reach out to him with any ideas and recommendations for improving the industry.  He can be reached at Mathew@EFSeniorCare.com.
